Well, hello there winter. Bugger off.
Well, hello there winter. Bugger off.

Well, hello there winter. Bugger off.

I’m just going to park this here:

Just a reminder, for those who don’t know just how much I hate winter:

How to stay warm in a Chicago winter.
How to survive a Chicago winter polar vortex without losing your mind.
The Long Winter…field trip.
Late winter haiku to get us to spring.

It’s the first week of November and the stabbing chill of winter is knocking on our door. I’ve ordered my knee-length down parka, the electric blanket is on the bed, I can make hot tea in my sleep. I want to be all badass and tell winter to BRING IT!, but really I’d be thrilled if winter looked around and realized it was lost and apologized profusely and returned to the upper regions of Canada where it belongs.

Five months. I can do this.
