So we’ve just returned from the weekly installment of “How to feel inadequate and dissatisfied with your life,” aka playgroup. Did I miss a life lesson somewhere? Was it in the pre-wedding class? The childbirth class (waste of time. I never did use the stupid breathing exercises. Give me a break, I wasn’t going to try to overcome 20+ years of studying breathing the proper way for that ridiculous panting.)? The childbirth refresher class (what a waste of time and babysitter money)? Somewhere, at some point, I missed something: how to have children and a clean, decorated home. Hell, how to just have a clean, decorated home, let’s leave kids out of it. It’s not the be-all, end-all of life, but I have a feeling I’m missing something. I think I’m missing a decorating gene. If you find it, let me know. I’d like it back please.
